TIMBERCOM was born in the 80's. We are therefore, a young company, although we come from a long familiar tradition in the wood business, field in which we began our activities before founding our own company.  The conjuction of what we had
learnt, together with the new ideas we wanted to develop, led to a project that has been
quickly consolidated into a company recognized nationally and worldwide, with customers in
a large number of countries. |

| Our reputation is based on reliability and on the quality of our work: manufacturing and marketing wood veneers, solid wood and bookmatched jointed faces of a wide range of species from all over the world. |  |

This was, and remains being, our firm objective. We also share the current growing interest for the environment. It could not be any other way in a company that entirely depends on natural resources. That is the reason why we work with veneers, thin wood sheets, obtained through advanced cutting techniques.

| Moreover, we
work with other firms well-known for applying selective logging techniques and a constant
labour of reforestation. We support initiatives aimed to assure our forests' development
and even improve their environmental conditions for future generations. In TIMBERCOM we love wood and we are sure that this is the common feeling of everyone interested in it. And, we firmly believe in its huge possibilities. |
